Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel visited various units established in the newly constructed Rural Industrial Park in village Kadar during a meeting in Bhatapara assembly constituency today and discussed with the members of women’s groups running small industries there about their work and business. Learned about the benefits available. The women told the Chief Minister that opening of RIPA has given them the confidence to stand on their own feet by starting small works. The income earned here is also helping them to run their families.  
The Chief Minister first visited the spice manufacturing unit in Kadar Ripa. After discussing with the women of Om Sai Ram self-help group, which operates this unit, the Chief Minister inquired about their work. Smt. Itara Dhivar told the Chief Minister that till now chili-spices worth Rs. 50 thousand have been sold by her group. Self-help group members are also manufacturing vermicompost in Gauthan, so far they have sold vermicompost worth Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand. A total of 11 women members are associated in this group. He told that the members divide the profit amount among themselves.
Pooja Sahu, a member of Maa Saraswati Women’s Self-Help Group, who operates the incense stick unit, said that till now she has sold goods worth Rs 80,000, which cost about Rs 10,000. Sangeeta Banjare, a member of the Satnam Women’s Self-Help Group, who operates the Dona Pattal unit, said that till now she has sold goods worth Rs 50,000, which cost about Rs 20,000 and got a net profit of Rs 30,000.
Mini pulses mill unit at a cost of Rs 2.5 lakh set up in Ripa –
Devika Verma, a member of the Mahamaya self-help group, said that about two months ago, with the help of the government, a mini pulses mill unit has been set up at a cost of Rs 2.50 lakhs. . Now 20 quintals of Arhar have been received from Krishi Vigyan Kendra, it is ready to be processed and sold in the open market.
