‘Contemplation and philosophy of the great people of the state at the center of the plans here’
Chief Minister participated in ‘Garh Gay Nava Chhattisgarh’ program Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that behind the goal of ‘Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh’ of Chhattisgarh government is the thinking of the great men here. Keeping their thoughts, philosophies and dreams at the center, the plans of the state are being made, the implementation of which is changing the lives of the people. We are making plans for the welfare of all sections and implementing them on the ground in an effective manner. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said these things in the program ‘Garh Gay Nava Chhattisgarh’ organized by India News news channel in Raipur today. He launched the channel’s digital platform indianewschhattisgarh.com at the event. The Chief Minister also showed a glimpse of Chhattisgarhi culture by running a bumblebee (lattu) on the stage. Referring to the major schemes of the state government in the program, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that through the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, we are improving the economy of the farmers. In this scheme, we are giving input subsidy of Rs. 9,000 per acre every year to the farmers cultivating paddy. 150 crore has been given to the cattle rearers of the state through the Godhan Nyay Yojana. Through this scheme, the service of Gaumata and Mother Earth is being done. With this, the state is moving towards organic farming along with protecting the environment, reducing carbon emissions and improving soil health. The Chief Minister said that Rajiv Gandhi Bhoomiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana is being operated in the state for the landless agricultural labourers. Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country which is giving seven thousand rupees per year to the landless agricultural laborers by starting such a scheme.
The Chief Minister said in the program that through the Mukhyamantri Haat-Bazaar Clinic Yojna, people in remote rural areas and forest areas are being provided treatment facilities near their homes. Malaria-free Bastar campaign and Malaria-free Chhattisgarh campaign have brought down the cases of malaria significantly in the state. He said that Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School is helping in shaping the future of promising students. The number of these schools is continuously increasing in the state. The state government has decided to recruit ten thousand teachers for these schools as well as other schools.
Shri Baghel said that Chhattisgarh alone is buying 74 percent of the minor forest produce in the entire country. 65 types of minor forest produce are being purchased in the state on support price. Earlier, only seven minor forest produce were procured on support price. He said that Chhattisgarh has the lowest unemployment rate in the entire country. We are constantly recruiting police personnel, teachers, assistant professors, patwaris and other officers and employees. We are also working to provide relief to the victims of the loot of chit fund companies. So far, an amount of Rs 40 crore has been returned to the people of the state.
