Raipur, 13 November 2021.The sportsmanship of the field is useful for life. In real life also there are moments of victory and defeat, but if you apply the sportsmanship learned on the field in life also, you will never be disappointed and the enthusiasm to move forward will remain. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said the above things while addressing the future generation on the occasion of closing ceremony of State Level School Sports Competition of Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School as the Chief Guest. A two-day state level school sports competition of Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School was organized in the capital Raipur from November 12 to 13, in which 1260 school participants from five divisions of Chhattisgarh namely Raipur, Bilaspur, Bastar, Surguja and Durg participated. Two hundred sports coaches and officials participated for the operation.

School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam presided over the closing ceremony of the state level school sports competition organized at Subhash Stadium in Raipur. On the other hand, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Raipur, Mr. Ejaz Dhebar was present as a special guest. On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said in his address that in Chhattisgarh, our government has started many schemes, which were discussed in the country and abroad. One of them includes the plan to start Swami Atmanand English Medium School, which has been appreciated by all. I am happy that for the first time a state level school sports competition is being organized by Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School Group. He told the young players that, there is sadness in the defeat in the game and joy in the victory, but the sportsmanship learned in the playing field takes us forward in life. At the same time, the scope of new acquaintances increases and we learn new things by meeting friends from different fields. Sports spirit also gives motivation to move forward without getting discouraged by failure.
If you apply the spirit in life too, you will never be disappointed and there will be enthusiasm to move forward.
School Education Minister Dr. Tekam said that children get more happiness from sports. In the competition, children from Bastar to Surguja division have performed their game better. He said that children should do good studies along with good sports. Dr. Tekam said that the aim of Swami Atmanand English Medium School is to prepare children of all sections of the state for better opportunities by giving them an environment to study in English medium. On this occasion, District Education Officer Shri A.N. Banjara read the report and said that Fugdi was also included in this event in the series of efforts being made by the state government with the aim of promoting folk art and folk sports.
Prizes were presented by the guests to the winning teams who performed excellently in the competition, in which the team of Raipur division was the overall champion. On this occasion, the Chief Minister and other guests took a glimpse of Chhattisgarhi culture by the school students and enjoyed the presentation of attractive cultural programs along with sports material. Secretary School Education Dr. Kamalpreet Singh and other departments were specially present on this occasion.
