An amount of 8.23 crores was transferred online to villagers, cattle herders and women self-help groups under Godhan Nyaya Yojana.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has said that the process of making a rural industry policy should be started soon on the lines of the new industrial policy to increase employment and self-employment opportunities in rural areas. Mr. Baghel was addressing the online distribution program of cow dung purchase and dividend amount to cattle rearing villagers, women groups associated with Gothans and Gothan committees in a program organized at his residence office today. He released an amount of Rs 8 crore 23 lakh online in the program.
Addressing the function, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the Rural Industrial Parks associated with Gauthan are becoming functional at most of the places. Now before this work completely, we have to work towards formulating rural industry policy, for this the concerned department should complete the process soon. So that when the Rural Industrial Parks start functioning completely, the beneficiaries associated with them can be helped in taking loans from the bank and starting other businesses.
Congratulating the women groups associated with Gauthan including cattle rearers, the Chief Minister said that it is a great thing that they are continuously making records. After payment of 8.23 crores, this figure will become Rs.403 crores 58 lakhs. Similarly, after payment of Rs 4.76 crore to cow dung vendors, this figure will be Rs 206 crore 49 lakh. Expressing happiness over the power unit started for power generation from cow dung, he directed to connect the power generated from these units to the power grid and fix the price of electricity.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that it is a matter of pride that so far 4927 Gothans have become self-reliant in the state, who have started purchasing cow dung from their own savings. Till now the Gothan groups who were making diyas, vermicompost etc. are now producing electricity. He said that among the MoUs signed for power generation in the past, the units of Bemetara and Bastar have taken concrete shape at the ground level. Now complete the task of connecting the electricity produced by it to the power grid and fixing the price of the electricity produced from it.
While reviewing the unit for making paint from cow dung, the Chief Minister said that it is a matter of happiness that 23 paint units are under process in 21 districts, 13 units have been completed. More than 17 thousand liters of paint has been produced and an income of more than 22 lakh rupees has been earned. He said that schools and government offices will soon require a large amount of paint, so we have to produce natural paint by balancing the demand and supply so that paint can be supplied at the right time.
