Chhattisgarh moves towards a leading role in the implementation of central schemes

The people of Chhattisgarh are getting double benefit in the double engine government led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at the center and Shri Vishnu Dev Sai in the state. Moving towards the same goal with which the Prime Minister expressed his commitment to developed India, the series of public welfare works is continuously progressing in Chhattisgarh too. The message of good governance is reaching the people through the three pillars of quality, accountability and transparency in the Sai government.

Chhattisgarh is getting full benefit of the schemes run under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi. Chhattisgarh is continuously moving towards a leading role in the implementation of the major schemes of the Central Government and providing their benefits to the eligible beneficiaries. These include schemes like PM Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Kisan Credit Card Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Adarsh ​​Gram Yojana, National Health Mission.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Chhattisgarh has received the highest target of building 8.46 lakh houses in the country from the central government. As per Modi ji’s guarantee, along with the approval of Pradhan Mantri Awas to 18 lakh 12 thousand 743 needy families, 47 thousand 90 homeless families eligible for the survey under Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana Gramin will also be given permanent houses. So far, 1 lakh 74 thousand 585 beneficiaries have received their houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin in Chhattisgarh.

People of backward tribal community in the state are also getting the benefit of PM Janman Yojana. Under this scheme, so far 24 thousand 542 families of special backward tribes have got housing approval in the state. 715 roads of 2 thousand 449 kilometers will also be constructed in the state with the approval of 1 thousand 699 crores by the central government, which will benefit 777 PVTG settlements.

The picture of Chhattisgarh is also changing in the field of health. People in the state are getting the benefit of quality modern health system, for this achievement, 266 government hospitals of Chhattisgarh have also been given quality certification by India. More than 11 lakh 20 thousand patients in Chhattisgarh have benefited from Ayushman Card. Under the National Health Mission, appointments have also been given on 883 contractual posts from December 2023 to November 2024 to provide better health facilities in the state.

The pace of development in Chhattisgarh has also doubled under the double engine government. Under the Pradhan Mantri Sadak Yojana, 103 km long roads have been built in the Naxal-affected remote areas of Bastar division, out of which renovation work of 616 roads is also going on. With a provision of Rs 4500 crore under Jal Jeevan Mission, moving towards the target of providing pure drinking water to 50 lakh families of Chhattisgarh, tap connections have been provided to 40 lakh families.

Along with this, approval of Rs 11 thousand crore has also been received for the development of four major national highways of Chhattisgarh. Centre has also approved Urga-Katghora bypass, Basna to Sarangarh (Manikpur) feeder route, Sarangarh to Raigarh feeder route and Raipur-Lakhanadon Economic Corridor. This corridor with a total length of 236.1 km will be built at a cost of Rs 9208 crore. Union Road and Transport Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari has also approved development works worth Rs 20 thousand crore in Chhattisgarh.

On the initiative of the Chief Minister, Chhattisgarh has also received approval for 240 e-buses from the Central Government under the PM e-Bus Seva Yojana, these buses will run in Raipur, Bilaspur, Korba and Durg-Bhilai. This facility will provide transportation facility to the common people at affordable rates.

The farmers of Chhattisgarh are getting double benefit of the schemes of the Central and State Governments. Farmers can also take short term agricultural loan up to Rs. 5 lakhs as per their convenience. Due to the initiative of the Chief Minister on the guarantee of Modi ji, the farmers of Chhattisgarh are getting the highest price for their paddy in the country.
