Chief Minister unveiled the statue of martyr Colonel Viplav Tripathi

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, while paying tribute to the martyrdom of Martyr Colonel Viplav Tripathi, said that the entire family of the martyr Colonel has been serving the country for three generations. Today is a historic day for the entire state and Raigarh. Chief Minister Shri Sai paid tribute to the sacrifice of his entire family. He was addressing the program today by unveiling the statue of Martyr Colonel Viplav Tripathi installed in the Martyr Colonel Viplav Tripathi Stadium complex in Raigarh district. On this occasion, Finance Minister Shri OP Chaudhary, Colonel Viplav Tripathi’s father Shri Subhash Tripathi, mother Mrs. Asha Tripathi, Shri Prabal Pratap Singh Judev were also present. It is noteworthy that during his stay in Raigarh recently, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai had told the family members of martyr Colonel Viplav Tripathi that whenever you unveil the statue of martyr Colonel Tripathi, I will definitely come. In this sequence, the Chief Minister today unveiled the statue of martyr Colonel Tripathi in Raigarh.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the stories of bravery of this son of Raigarh fill the veins with enthusiasm. Martyr Colonel Viplav Tripathi was an example of patriotism and devotion to duty. He fought the country’s enemies bravely and never stopped or got tired in performing his duty. When the terrorists attacked, he was martyred fighting the enemies till the last bullet. Shri Sai said that he was such a brave lion that the country’s enemies were afraid to face him, hence the terrorists trapped him in an ambush and attacked him. While fighting the enemies, he along with his wife Anuja and son Abir attained martyrdom. Not only Raigarh but the entire country and state is proud of his martyrdom. Chief Minister Shri Sai assured to rejuvenate the Martyr Colonel Viplav Tripathi Stadium soon.
Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary said that every resident of Raigarh is proud that martyr Colonel Viplav Tripathi was born on the soil of Raigarh. He set an example of patriotism before the country and the world. Martyr Colonel Viplav Tripathi is a personality who has achieved a level higher than divinity. Who sacrificed even their lives. Shri Chaudhary said that our present generation will always remember his contribution to the country. He is not among us today but his works will always be present in our memory as an inspiration. He said that Agniveer recruitment camp will be organized in Raigarh in the memory of martyr Colonel Viplav Tripathi and free arrangements will be made for training for Agniveer recruitment.
Martyr Colonel Viplav Tripathi is a rare martyr of the country who sacrificed his life along with his entire family in the service of the country . On 13 November 2021, Martyr Colonel Tripathi fought till the last bullet while saving his soldiers in the ambush attack by a separatist group in Vihang near the Myanmar border and while making the supreme sacrifice, he was martyred along with his wife Anuja and son Abir.
