Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached village Chirra under Rampur Vidhansabha of Korba district today as part of his statewide meet-meet campaign. The Chief Minister reached village Chirra for food in the hospitality of farmer Mr. Subhash Chand Rathia after his meeting program.
The family members of Mr. Subhash warmly welcomed the Chief Minister at the main door of the house by traditionally performing Tilak-Aarti, garlanding him with paddy earrings and presenting him with shawls and fruits. The Rathia family served Brinjal-Radish sour vegetable, taroi, potato parwal, kanda bhaji, kolar bhaji, chaulai bhaji, lentils, mango chutney, papad, salad and mango pickle to the Chief Minister with full intimacy. The Chief Minister relished the delicious Chhattisgarhi food served with simplicity by the family members.
Griha Swami Mr. Subhash, his wife and children were overjoyed to find Chief Minister Mr. Baghel sitting in the midst of the family and having food in their hospitality. The Chief Minister thanked Subhash and his family members by presenting them gifts for the delicious Chhattisgarhi food.
Farmer Subhash told the Chief Minister that he does the work of farming. He has 5 acres of farm. In which they take Kharif as well as Rabi crops. He told that his family is getting benefits of various public welfare schemes of the government like loan waiver, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, ration distribution, electricity bill half scheme etc. Due to which the economic condition of his family is getting stronger. The owner of the house said that the arrival of the Chief Minister at the house of an ordinary person like us is a matter of great fortune for us. This is a day our family will remember forever

Farmer Subhash is survived by his wife and three children. He himself is 12th pass. But they are providing good education to their children. His elder daughter Kiran is a second year BSC student in Kartla College, seeing Kiran’s interest towards higher education, the Chief Minister gifted Kiran a laptop and wished all the children for further studies. Younger daughter is studying in 8th class in Eklavya Vidyalaya and son is high school pass. He said that his children are getting higher education through government schemes.
On this occasion, along with the Chief Minister, Assembly Speaker Mr. Charandas Mahant, Education Minister Chhattisgarh Government and Minister in-charge of the district Mr. Prem Sai Tekam, Revenue Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agarwal and Member of Parliament Mrs. Jyotsna Mahant, other people’s representatives enjoyed delicious food at Kisan Subhash’s place.
