All special products prepared in Chhattisgarh will be available in C-Mart

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the fifth divisional level C-Mart of the newly created state at Agrasen Chowk in Samta Colony during a meeting in Raipur West Assembly today. On this occasion, Raipur West MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, Mayor Raipur Mr. Ejaz Dhebar along with women self-help groups, forest department and officers and employees of Municipal Corporation, public representatives and general public were present.
After the inauguration of the C-Mart, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel visited the entire complex and saw Chhattisgarh herbal as well as materials prepared by women of self-help groups. The women operating the C-Mart gave detailed information about the products to the Chief Minister. Appreciating the products, the Chief Minister said that the women of the state have got a big market in the form of C-Mart and their access to the consumers has increased. Through C-Mart, women are moving towards becoming financially independent. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel appreciated the officers of Forest Department for giving special place to millets and herbal products in C-Mart. He said that the availability of nutritious products like Kodo, Kutki, Ragi will also give a boost to the Millet Mission. During this, a basket of herbal products was presented to Chief Minister Mr. Baghel by C-Mart operators.
It is worth mentioning that this is the fifth divisional level C-Mart of the state, which has been built in 3800 square feet at a cost of Rs 1 crore 23 lakh. Like a departmental store, this C-mart is all convenient and about 800 types of products are available here, in which the number of products will increase further. In C-Mart, along with the products of Chhattisgarh Herbal, materials prepared by self-help groups across the state will be available at one place. Along with this, goods of handloom, Matikala board and village industries will also be available here. C-Mart is mainly a market of indigenous products with urban infrastructure, where people will be able to buy their favorite goods manufactured in different parts of the state.
