 Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today reached village Khudia of Lormi assembly constituency of Mungeli district under state level meeting program. Before the meeting, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel visited the Biodiversity Park near the irrigation project Khudia Dam. He garlanded the statue of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister late Shri Rajiv Gandhi in the park. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel met and interacted directly with the beneficiaries taking benefits of the state government’s public welfare schemes at the park. To know the condition of the beneficiaries.

It is notable that the establishment of “Biodiversity Park Khudiya” was completed in May 2020 by Forest and Climate Change Department Mungeli. It was built under the ambitious project of the Forest and Climate Change Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh, with a view to bring awareness among the people about biodiversity and its conservation, promotion and protection. The said park is divided into different parts, in which Nakshatra Vatika, Navagraha Vatika, Nature Trail, Butterfly Garden and Miyawaki Plantation are prominent. Three domes have been built in this park for increasing the income of the people and training them for livelihood. Parliamentary Secretary Smt. Rashmi Ashish Singh and other public representatives were present on the occasion of wreath laying program of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi’s statue.
