Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated and congratulated Chhattisgarh’s renowned Pandwani singer, Padma Vibhushan Smt. Teejanbai on receiving the Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship (Akademi Ratna). The Chief Minister has said that Padma Vibhushan Smt. Teejan Bai has given international fame to Pandwani, the folk singing tradition of Chhattisgarh. He has an unprecedented contribution in giving a new identity to the culture of our Chhattisgarh in the country and abroad.
President Smt. Draupadi Murmu honored Padma Vibhushan Smt. Teejan Bai with Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship and Padma Shri, well-known folk singer of Chhattisgarh and Dr. Mokshada (Mamta) Chandrakar, Vice-Chancellor of Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh at a dignified ceremony held in New Delhi on Thursday. Awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award.
Congratulating and best wishes to Dr. Mokshada (Mamta) Chandrakar, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that she has made Chhattisgarh proud with her achievements in the field of folk art and music.
