According to the FIR, thieves made away with a gold necklace, gold rings, earrings, ear chains and any other silver items from the house of the victim woman. The police has estimated the value of these jewelery at Rs 40 thousand on the basis of old jewellery. However, their real value in the market is in lakhs. The people of the colony are in shock.

In the last 2 days, incidents of theft took place in house number KBT-12, 46 of Kabir Nagar. Along with taking the incidents of theft seriously, the local people also demanded to increase police patrolling, so that the incidents of theft can be stopped. Along with the assurance of taking action, he also received an acknowledgment from the police station and within a few hours again a theft took place in house number KBT-27, an easy target for thieves in Kabir Nagar.

There are also a large number of rented houses in the Kabir Nagar area, due to which tenants go to their homes during festivals and holidays. The house remains empty. Apart from this, the National Highway is also close from here, due to which thieves can easily escape after committing crimes. Despite all these incidents coming to light, the police is not able to control the thieves.
