Shikshadoot Award Ceremony-2024 was organized at Balodabazar District Headquarters on Wednesday under the Chief Minister Shiksha Gaurav Alankaran Yojana. In this ceremony, Revenue Minister Shri Tankaram Verma and Raipur MP Shri Brijmohan Aggarwal honored 14 teachers of the district who did excellent work with the Shikshadoot Award. Along with this, the principals of 5 schools who achieved 100% result in High School Board Examination 2024, 10 cluster coordinators and 4 teachers were honored for innovative work.

Addressing the programme, Revenue Minister Shri Tankaram Verma said that teachers have both the qualities of creation and revolution. They shape the future of children by using innovation with their creative skills. He said that earlier teachers used to play the role of village head. They were responsible for any religious or cultural event. Today teachers have to maintain their honour and respect while performing their role in the same way.  

In the program, MP Shri Brijmohan Agarwal said that today 33 teachers of the district have been honored. All these teachers will become a source of inspiration for other teachers by discharging their responsibilities well. Teachers play an important role in shaping the future of the country. He said that today there is no lack of resources and facilities in schools.

On this occasion, former Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Sanam Jangde, former MLA Smt. Laxmi Baghel, Municipal Council President Mr. Chittawar Jaiswal, District Panchayat President Mrs. Suman Yogesh Verma, District Panchayat Member Mrs. Aditi Baghmar, former District Panchayat President Mrs. Laxmi Verma, Mr. Vijay Kesharwani, Collector Mr. Deepak Soni, along with other public representatives, teachers and school children were present.
