Raipur 16 May 2022. Under the chairmanship of Public Works Department Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, the review meeting and quality testing program of departmental works was concluded at Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium here today. In this, the Minister Sahu directed the engineers and departmental officers to complete the works with quality within the time limit. He said that strict action would be taken against the officers and employees who were negligent in their work. Minister Shri Sahu honored the engineers who did excellent work in the program with a citation. During this, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Vikas Upadhyay, Shri Chintamani Maharaj, Secretary Public Works Department Shri Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi, MD of Chhattisgarh Road Development Corporation Limited Shri Himshikhar Gupta and Chief Engineer Shri Vijay Bhattpahari were present.
Minister of Public Works Department, Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, while addressing all the engineers present in the auditorium, said that on the special initiative of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, keeping in mind the public facilities, the department has been given proper budget for construction works. For this reason, in the last three years, all the construction work of the department is going on at a constant pace. He praised the departmental staff for speedy construction of infrastructure including hospitals and gas pipelines during the Corona period and said that during this time many employees were also infected but the work was not hampered. Minister Shri Sahu further said that no compromise will be made on the quality of construction works. The amount should be fully utilized, Estimate the amount of work done. Do the important work in your field with prominence. He directed the department to prepare the estimates in such a way that the situation does not get created by making revised estimates. Along with this, he instructed to handover the building construction work on time, marking the turning points and black spots and work on them expeditiously. Minister Shri Sahu instructed to complete the approved works before the rainy season. He also said that it should be ensured that the situation of traffic jam does not arise. Minister Shri Sahu took up the land acquisition case, Instructions were given to work in coordination with the revenue officers and the officers of the concerned department on the work of getting permission for sweeping etc., which creates a situation of delay in works. Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu directed to complete the ongoing works under Mukhyamantri Sugam Sadak Yojana with quality within the time limit. Parliamentary Secretaries Shri Vikas Upadhyay and Shri Chintamani Maharaj also expressed their views in the program. Secretary Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi and Chief Engineer Mr Bhattaphari gave important suggestions to the engineers.
