Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated and congratulated everyone on the auspicious occasion of new education session and school entrance festival starting from June 26. The Chief Minister has expressed the hope that all the teachers will join with full dedication in the work of education donation with new energy and new determination, making the beginning of the new education session meaningful. You and all of us together will play an important role in making Chhattisgarh educated. Last year 5173 kindergartens were started in the state, this year 4318 more kindergartens are being opened, now their number will increase to 9491.
In his greeting message, the Chief Minister has said that small children should be welcomed and felicitated by celebrating the entrance festival in all the schools of the state. The Chief Minister has requested all public representatives and common people to go to their nearest school on the day of school admission and boost the morale of the children and also cooperate with the teachers in improving the quality of the education system by visiting the school from time to time.
As soon as the school opens this year, arrangements have been made to provide free text books, uniforms etc. to the children and to provide free cycles to the girl students taking admission in Class IX. With the commencement of the new education session, we are getting an opportunity to increase the attachment of people towards quality education. It is our resolve that all arrangements should be ensured from the very first day of opening of the school to create an environment of excellent education in the state.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has said that 377 English medium and 350 Hindi medium schools have been started in the state under Swami Atmanand Utsaksh Vidyalaya Yojana. The popularity of these schools is much better than the private schools. Our government has given special attention to teaching English language to the children so that they can stand in the global competition with full confidence. On the other hand, we have also made arrangements to educate children in local dialects. Bilingual books have been prepared in 20 languages and dialects in the state, so that children living in Chhattisgarh can get an opportunity to start studies in their mother tongue.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has said that for the past several years, repair and painting of schools and buildings could not be done. Many school buildings had become dilapidated. Our government has also resolved to repair all such school buildings and make them beautiful. Under the ‘Chief Minister School Jatan Yojana’, an amount of about Rs 2 thousand crore has been approved for the repair of 29 thousand 284 school buildings.
