The process of recruitment of 10 thousand teachers
 will be given to all the government high schools and higher secondary schools of Dantewada district, the form of Swami Atmanand Utkrisht Vidyalaya will be given to
the students of the state on the 75th anniversary of independence.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today greeted the people of the state on Independence Day after hoisting the flag at the Police Parade Ground in the capital Raipur on the auspicious and glorious occasion of 75th anniversary of the country’s independence. On this occasion, the Chief Minister gave a big gift for providing better and quality education to the students of the state. He announced the implementation of Swami Atmanand Utkrisht Vidyalaya scheme in 422 schools of the state before the upcoming academic session, out of which 252 schools would be in Bastar and Surguja divisions.
The Chief Minister said that 100 percent government high schools and higher secondary schools in Dantewada district would be given the form of Swami Atmanand Utkrisht Vidyalaya. He said that in the field of education, we took permanent measures to improve, under which the work of permanent recruitment of more than 14 thousand teachers was started in the first phase, which is now in the final stages. Apart from this, the process of recruitment of 10,000 teachers has also been started.
The Chief Minister said that a new revolution has come in the field of school education with the ‘Swami Atmanand Utkrisht Vidyalaya Yojana’. Last year we started this scheme from 51 schools, which has now increased to 279 schools. Out of these 32 schools are of Hindi medium and in 247 schools education is being imparted in English medium along with Hindi. This year 2 lakh 52 thousand 600 children have taken admission in these schools, in which 1 lakh 3 thousand children are from English medium and 1 lakh 49 thousand 600 children are from Hindi medium. Considering the success of this scheme, we have decided that more and more schools will be brought under this scheme. This scheme will be implemented in 422 schools before the next academic session. Out of which 252 schools will be in Bastar and Surguja divisions and these will have 100% government high and higher secondary schools in Dantewada district. Keeping our promise, we have also started the process of setting up boarding school of international standard in Nava Raipur.
The Chief Minister said that in order to provide elementary education to the children in their mother tongue itself, we have published textbooks in 16 local languages ​​besides Hindi and in languages ​​of 4 neighboring states. Under the ‘Free Text Book Scheme’, about 52 lakh text books are being provided to the children of all government-government schools and madrassas up to class VIII from class I to class X. A target has been set to provide free cycles to 1 lakh 55 thousand girl students studying in ninth class this year.
To make school education employable, it has been coordinated with ITIs so that certificate of schooling and ITI training can be obtained simultaneously. Under this scheme, 114 Higher Secondary Schools have been added. To improve the quality of higher education, 1 thousand 459 assistant professors, sports officers and librarians have been appointed. Honorarium of guest lecturers has been increased. In order to open Girls Colleges in all the districts, a new Girls College has been started in Mungeli.
