development works in Raipur Municipal Corporation area as per the demand of the public.
Raipur, 04 August 2022 f Minister i Bhupesh Baghel attended the Peacock Mayor Mor Dwar program organized at Subhash Stadium in the city today. While addressing the program, he said that the government has equally concerned about development in rural areas as well as in urban areas. Many successful schemes have been operated to reach the services to the common citizens. The Chief Minister said that now people do not have to go to the offices for documents like income, caste, residence, marriage registration, For this we have started Mitan Yojana. Now people like these are getting 13 services sitting at home. The Chief Minister also openly praised the campaign to know the problems of common people in Raipur Municipal Corporation area and to solve them on the spot. In the program, he also honored the officers and employees of the Corporation for doing excellent work. Along with this, he also talked to the beneficiaries of government schemes in the corporation area. Expressing happiness over the National Awards received by the Government of India in the field of cleanliness to the municipal bodies of the entire state including Raipur Municipal Corporation, the Chief Minister said that the hard work of the councilors, officers, Chhattisgarh has been awarded with more than 60 awards due to the sweat and public support of cleanliness didis. It is a matter of pride for every Chhattisgarhi person. He also appealed to make efforts to bring Raipur Municipal Corporation from the sixth number to the first number in the cleanliness survey this time. The Chief Minister also told about the state government’s Dhanwantri Yojana, Dr. Khubchand Baghel Swasthya Sahayata Yojna up to Rs.5 lakh for the treatment of the poor and Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme with assistance of up to Rs.20 lakh for serious diseases.
More than 10 thousand applications were received to open Swami Atmanand School- In the program, Mayor Ejaz Dhebar said that in the camps organized under the Peacock Mayor Mor Dwar program, more than 10 thousand applications have been received only for opening Swami Atmanand School. He said that the popularity of this scheme of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel is such that every person, public representative wants to start Swami Atmanand School in his ward and educate his children in it. On this, the Chief Minister said in his address that Swami Atmanand School is not just a school, but a medium to realize the dreams of the children of poor and middle class families. He said that while a large part of the hard earned money of the parents is being saved from being spent in the form of fees from these schools, At the same time, the future of the children is also being forged with better and quality education. With the opening of these schools, competition among other private schools has increased and overall the standard of education has improved a lot. He also appealed to the people present to take maximum benefit of the schemes of the government.
Urban bodies will get 25 percent of the amount received from regularization of illegal construction – Chief Minister Shri Baghel also informed about the plan for regularization of illegal construction up to 5000 square feet in urban areas in the program. On the demand of Mayor Mr. Ejaz Dhebar, he announced that 25 percent of the amount received from such regularization would be made available to the concerned municipal corporation and urban bodies. With this 25% amount, development in urban areas will get new dimensions and public facilities will also increase. Along with this, on the demand of the Mayor, the Chief Minister also sanctioned Rs 10 crore on the spot for small works like drain, road construction in Raipur Municipal Corporation area.
More than 28 thousand applications received in 35 days, 23 and a half thousand were resolved- Peacock Mayor Describing about the Peacock Dwar program, Mayor Mr. Ejaz Dhebar said that in every two wards of the city for 35 days, the municipal officials-employees’ representatives organized camps. He listened to the problems of the people. He said that a total of 28 thousand 059 applications were received during this period, out of which 23 thousand 582 applications were resolved on the spot. The mayor said that after examining the remaining applications, action would be ensured. In these camps, 6 thousand 567 income certificates, 3 thousand 164 Ayushman cards, one thousand 370 e-shramik cards, one thousand 082 Aadhaar cards, 896 residence certificates, 873 ration cards, 871 caste certificates were made and given to the people at the camp site itself. The Mayor informed that ward wise loans up to Rs. 5 crore were given to women of self-help groups for self-employment in these camps and on the demand of the people, approval for works of more than Rs. one crore for basic facilities was also given in the camps.
