In Raipur’s Kalinga University, students beat up a student over the fresher’s party. First there was a dispute in the WhatsApp group, then the boys got together and fought. Now the video of this incident has also surfaced. The matter is of Mandir Hasaud police station area.
The victim student told the police that he is a first year BBA student. A fresher’s party is to be organized in the university. A WhatsApp group was formed to discuss the party. A few days ago, he got into an argument with some boys in the group. There was a debate about who should be invited to the fresher’s party and who should not. Abuse and beating during the meeting.
On September 29, the victim reached the university and was having breakfast sitting outside the campus with his friends at around 3 pm. Meanwhile, the 6-7 boys with whom there was an argument on the WhatsApp group arrived. They started abusing him. About 7 students surrounded him and beat him.
When the victim protested, they surrounded him and threatened to kill him. As the dispute escalated, the seven students including the accused Sachin Singh, Aditya Gupta, Ashish Singh Rajput and Manas Ragra beat them with kicks and punches. Then he picked it up and threw it. After the fight, everyone ran away in the car.

The student suffered injuries on his hands, cheeks and head in the attack. One of his friends who came to his rescue was also injured. The accused students had also made a video of the fight. Which went viral on social media after a week.
FIR registered in the police station
In this case, Mandir Hasaud police has registered an FIR on the complaint of the victim student late in the evening of 6th October. Police are interrogating the accused youth, but no one has been arrested yet. According to information received from sources, some of these students are said to be from outside also.
