Raipur: State Quality Monitors will be empaneled for quality monitoring of roads and bridges

Applications invited from retired civil engineers till June 30

Under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, State Quality Monitors will be empaneled to monitor the quality of roads and bridges in the state. For this, applications have been invited by Chhattisgarh Rural Road Development Agency from retired civil engineers by 30 June 2023.
Candidates desirous of applying in Quality Monitoring should be a graduate in Civil Engineering and have an Executive Engineer or equivalent position in the Central or State Government or any Public Sector Undertaking. 
Such faculty members of Government Engineering Colleges, IITs, NITs and Government Research Institutes who possess the qualification of graduation in civil engineering and have experience in design supervision and consultancy of road and bridge construction can also apply.
For the supervision of road construction works, the concerned engineer should have at least five years of road construction work experience in the last 10 years from the date of retirement. Similarly, for monitoring bridge construction works, the concerned engineer should have at least 8 years of experience in planning and design. Such persons who have similar experience in both the fields can also apply.
   Such persons who are already empaneled in National Quality Monitor or State Quality Monitor and who have completed 67 years of age by 30th June 2023 will not be eligible to
   apply There should be information about the operation of the organization and there should not be any corruption case against him.
