Thanked for getting special allowance by feeding sweets

A delegation of State Panchayat Secretaries Association met Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel in his office room located in the assembly premises today. The delegation thanked Chief Minister Mr. Baghel by feeding him sweets for giving special allowance to the panchayat secretaries. He told that there is a wave of happiness among the panchayat secretaries across the state due to yesterday’s announcement. The decision taken in the interest of Panchayat Secretaries is historic. It is noteworthy that the salary of Panchayat secretaries has been increased in the supplementary budget. The special allowance for panchayat secretaries with less than 15 years of service has been increased by Rs 2,500 and the special allowance for panchayat secretaries with more than 15 years of service has been increased by Rs 3,000. Due to this, the state government will have to spend an additional Rs 50 crore. Apart from this, they will also be given the benefit of earned leave, ex-gratia amount up to Rs 10 lakh and reimbursement of medical expenses up to Rs 5 lakh.
On this occasion, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Chandradev Rai, President of State Panchayat Secretaries Union Chhattisgarh Shri Tulsi Sahu, Shri Yashwant Adil, Shri Amar Dhankar, Shri M Lal Yadav, Shri Krishna Yadav, Shri Arjun Singh, Shri Manish Dubey and others were present.
