Raipur: State Level Youth Festival 2023: Writers show solidarity to script folk literature

State level youth festival organized from January 28 to 30 in the auditorium located in the Science College campus of the capital Raipur

Chhattisgarhi Sahitya Sammelan is being organized in the state-level youth festival organized from January 28 to 30 in the auditorium located in the Science College campus of the capital Raipur. Chhattisgarhi Sahitya Sammelan was inaugurated by Director Culture and Archeology Department Mr. Vivek Acharya with lamp lighting and Rajgeet. On this occasion, litterateur Shri Rameshwar Vaishnav shared his experience by addressing the present litterateurs.

In the first session of the Sahitya Sammelan, the theme was based on the role of youth in upgradation of folk literature of Chhattisgarh. In which five participants participated. In which folk writers of Dr. PC Lal Yadav Gandai-Pandaria, Mrs. Sarla Sharma Bhilai-Durg, Dr. Anil Kumar Bhatpahari Raipur, Mr. Chandrashekhar Chakor Raipur and Mr. Sudama Gupta Surguja participated. Similarly, 7 litterateurs participated in the second session. In which Dr. Sudhir Pathak Sarguja, Ms. Kusum Madhuri Toppo Jashpur, Mr. Rudra Narayan Panigrahi Jagdalpur, Mr. Arun Kumar Nigam Durg, Ms. Shakuntala Tarar Raipur and Dr. Sudha Verma Raipur participated. The second session of the Chhattisgarh Lok Sahitya Sammelan was based on the theme of the role of youth in regional literature of Chhattisgarh.

The participants of the Chhattisgarh Literature Conference said that at present literature is being created with contemporary background. Chhattisgarhi as well as Surgujia, Halbi, Gondi, Compositions are being created in other dialects including Sadri Bhatri. He told that in the past this Chhattisgarhi literature was in the form of Shruti literature, which is being preserved by writing today. As a result of this, at present, coming to social media, they are sharing their creations based on verses on a single platform. Due to which young litterateurs are getting well acquainted with each other. Expressing gratitude to the state government, the litterateurs said that the Chhattisgarh State Language Commission was constituted by the state government. Now it has been expanded to the district level as well. As a result of which local litterateurs are also sharing their creations among themselves. In the first session of Chhattisgarhi Lok Sahitya Sammelan, the session president was Dr. Chittaranjan Kar and the director was Dr. Jitendra Sharma. Similarly, the session president of the second session, Dr. Satyabhama Audil Raipur and the operation was Mr. Rajesh Ganodwale. On this occasion, the Secretary of the State Language Commission Shri Anil Kumar Bhatpahari honored the litterateurs.
