On the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, today the state level delegation of Mahar Buddhist community met Chief Minister Mr. Met Baghel and expressed gratitude towards him. Lok Sabha MP Shri Deepak Baij was also present on the occasion.
It is worth noting that due to caste-related quantitative error of the people of Mahar community, there was a problem in issuing their caste certificates for the past several years, due to which these people were not getting the benefits of various government schemes including education and employment. . Continuous efforts were being made by the Buddhist society through Bastar MP Mr. Deepak Baij to meet the Chief Minister of the state Mr. Bhupesh Baghel regarding a permanent solution to the problem pending for years due to quantitative error. As a result, Chhattisgarh State Government sent a proposal to the Central Government regarding the quantitative error of Mahar caste and in this regard, after the approval of the Parliament and the signature of His Excellency the President, a gazette notification has been issued by the Government of India.
State level delegation of Buddhist society today expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and State Congress President MP Deepak Baij for fulfillment of years old demand of Mahar caste under Buddhist society and according to Government of India gazette soon Requested to issue a mandate to implement it in Chhattisgarh state. In this regard, the Chief Minister expressed his consent.
On this occasion, ‘Constitution of India’ and biography of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was presented to Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and President of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress MP Deepak Baij on behalf of Buddhist society.
