Raipur: State-level baboonar on ‘Padhai Tunhar Para’ challenges in community schools

   Raipur, 04 October 2020. Online classes were started in the state under the innovation program ‘Padhai Tunhar Duar’ program. But keeping in mind that some children were not able to take advantage of online classes due to lack of smartphone internet, the ‘Vidhai Tuhar Para’ community schools were started by the Education Department. Keeping in view the challenges in the community schools, the State Level Research and Training Council (SCERT) organized a state-level education for teachers.
    The combination of this webinar organized under the guidance of the skilled guidance director Mr. Rahul Venkat, Principal Secretary, School Education Department, Dr. Alok Shukla, Additional Director Mr. R.N. Singh, Joint Director Dr. Yogesh Shivhare. In ‘Shiksha Tuhar Para’, he gave a pithy discussion on how to study the children in different classes in a disciplined manner. Emphasized the involvement of children in the implementation by ensuring active participation of teachers, charioteer teachers, head readers, school management committees, professional learning communities. Nodal Officer of State Media Center in Webinar, Mr. Prashant Pandey, Monitoring In-charge Mr. A.K. Saraswat and Advisor Shri Satyaraj Iyer were also present.
    While discussing the topic of community participation, Assistant Professor of SCERT said that mutual and lively cooperation of community and school is necessary for quality education of children. He said that it can be used in selecting the place of community school, ensuring the presence of children, protection of children, prevention of corona infection and provision of necessary materials at the educational venue.
    Talking on the topic of multistage teaching and peer learning, the teacher, Mr. Sunil Mishra of the College of Education told that class-wise questions can be asked through interesting activity by pairing children of the same class and children of different classes.
    Measures to develop skills in children, Ms. Vidya Chandrakar told about listening, speaking, reading, writing to explain to children. Informed about the problem based learning educational game quiz antakshari on activity based learning topic. Ms. Neelam Arora gave detailed information on the use of worksheet and assessment of equipment, how to get children done. Ms. Preeti Singh discussed in detail how to construct school curriculum through local cultural activities.
