High Court Justice Shri Gautam Bhaduri, Executive Chairman Ch. Necessary instructions have been issued by the State Legal Services Authority (SALSA) Bilaspur to all District Legal Services Authorities to prevent incidents of sexual harassment of women at the workplace.
Member Secretary of the State Legal Services Authority Mr. Anand Prakash Warial said that as per the instructions of the Executive Chairman, SALSA has prepared a suitable training module and SOP in this regard and circulated it to all District Judges and Chairpersons of District Legal Services Authorities with instructions that They should organize a workshop and awareness program in this regard at their district headquarters and tehsil level, in which necessary information about related rules will be provided. So that incidents of sexual harassment at the workplace can be prevented and women employees can do their work fearlessly and with respect. The heads of all government, semi-government and non-government offices and other stakeholders will be included in the above workshop and awareness programme.
Mr. Warial told that as per the instructions of the Executive Chairman, an internal complaint will be made in all the offices to prevent and strictly follow the incidents of sexual harassment in all government, semi-government, non-government and other places where employers and employees, officers are employed. A committee should be constituted so that immediate action can be taken on the complaints received.
