Raipur: State Foundation Day -2020: ‘State Investiture Ceremony’ to be organized virtual

The Chief Secretary directed the departments to
complete all the proceedings for the honor in a time-limit.

    Raipur, 09 October 2020. Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day will be a virtual event of ‘State Investiture Ceremony’ on November 1, 2020. Chief Secretary Shri R.P. The Mandal has instructed all the concerned departments to complete all the proceedings of entries, advertisements and honors etc. for the state honor within the stipulated time frame.

    According to the time-limit fixed by the Chief Secretary for state honors, the name of the person or institution of honor, advertisement for introduction and commendation has been fixed till 13 October and the date for submission of online application till 18 October. Similarly, a date has been set for the approval of the jury meeting till October 20 and coordination by October 25. Chief Secretary Mr. Mandal has directed the appointment of Nodal Officer for the honor to be given by the concerned department. He has also said that the nodal officer appointed by the department and the information related to the honor should be made available to the state nodal officer, Director of Culture and Archeology Mahant Ghasidas Museum, Ghari Chowk, Raipur 0771-2537404 soon.

    The State Honor includes Shaheed Veeranarayan Singh, Guru Ghasidas, Haji Hassan Ali and Dr. Bhanwar Singh Porte under the Tribal Department. Gundadhur and Maharaja Praveerchandra Bhanjadeva are included under Sports Department and Minimata Samman under Women and Child Development Department. Thakur Pyare Lal Singh Samman under Cooperation Department, Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla under General Administration Department, Maharaja Agrasen Samman and Yeti Yatanlal Samman and Pandit Sundarlal Sharma, Chakradhar Samman and Daumandaraji Samman under Culture Department.

    Similarly, Dr. Khubchand Baghel Samman under Agriculture Department, Bilasabai Canteen under Fisheries and Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Journalism Award (Print and Electronic Media), Madhukar Kher Memorial Journalism Award (English) and Madhavrao Sapre Fellowship under Public Relations Department. Among the Social Welfare Department are Danveer Bhamashah Samman, Dhanwantari Samman under Health Department, Sanskrit Bhasha Samman under Higher Education Department, Pandit Lakhan Lal Mishra Samman under Police Department and Maharaja Ramanuja Pratap Singhdev Award under Labor Department.
