Raipur. 31 March 2021. State Election Commissioner Thakur Ramsingh reviewed the preparations for general elections in 13 municipal bodies of the state. He gave necessary instructions in this regard after meeting with the Deputy District Election Officers of the respective districts today in the office of the State Election Commission at Nava Raipur. He called for completion of all necessary preparations for the civic body elections in time. Secretary of State Election Commission, Shri R. Ekka was also present at the meeting.
The State Election Commissioner along with the Deputy District Election Officers of the nine districts having civic body elections, final publication of electoral rolls, arrangement of polling materials, polling work and vehicle arrangement for parties, determination of polling stations, establishment, inspection and verification, Sector Magistrate Discussed about the arrangement of sector officers, polling teams, counting personnel and election expenditure auditors, availability and training of officers and staff for elections, selection of printing presses for ballot printing, arrangement of control rooms and security arrangements there.
