Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Umesh Patel started the day by eating stale sacks in honor of the workers on the occasion of International Labor Day. He also tasted Paatal Chutney, Onion and Badi, traditionally eaten with Bore Basi.
Minister Mr. Patel extended greetings and best wishes to all the residents and laborers on International Labor Day and said that the laborers have contributed significantly in the construction of the country with their hard work. Today is the day to express gratitude towards the workers in true sense. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel started Bore Basi Tihar by expressing respect for the workers. He said that sacks are an important part of our Chhattisgarhi culture. Due to the inclusion of nutritious elements in it, it is also beneficial for our health. Here stale sacks are eaten with great gusto by all classes.
