Raipur: Special facility for better treatment of Covid 19 patients started: State level telemedicine hub started in Mekahara

Medical counseling to physicians of Covid care centers round the clock 

Raipur 30 September 2020. There are continuous efforts by the Health Department for better treatment of Kovid 19 patients. Mission Director National Health Mission Dr. Priyanka Shukla informed that as a special facility in this regard, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Smriti Hospital has been set up in Raipur, State Tele Medicine Center. Specialist doctors will get 24’7 medical consultation and will be able to treat the patients of their center in a better way. Dr. OP Sundarani has been made its Nodal Officer.
Time has been fixed for division wise tele-consultancy. As per the release time, from Monday to Saturday, 9-11 am for Raipur division, 11-1 am for Bastar division, 2 to 4 pm for Bilaspur division, evening for Sarguja. 
The time has been fixed from 4-6 pm and for Durg division from 6 pm to 8 pm. 
Shift wise two-two doctors will be available in the State Telemedicine Hub. Dr. Mukund Gavada and Dr. Pratibha Shah from 8 am to 3 pm, Dr. Sunil Chilay Shetty and Dr. Yogendra Malhotra from 3 pm to 10 pm, and Dr. Bhagwan Chandravarma and Dr. Swandeep Chandrakar from 10 am to 8 pm at Covid Care Center Will be available for consultation to the doctors of. This duty of doctors has been imposed for the month of October. 
Apart from this, the time has been fixed from 9 am to 8 pm for advice from a psychiatrist. Dr. Manoj Sahu will be available from 8 am to 2 pm and Dr. Surabhi Dubey from 2 pm to 8 pm to give advice in this regard.
