Recovery of fee of more than 50 thousand rupees from passenger vehicles not following speed governor and fitness
Strict action will be taken for taking more passengers and more fare than the prescribed capacity in passenger vehicles

In compliance with the instructions of the Transport Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, the department took necessary action against 6 different driving schools in the last 15 days by running a special drive and for not following the rules and conditions of the transport department. The reason has been suspended with immediate effect. Apart from this, a sum of Rs 39,500 and Rs 14,900 settlement fee has also been recovered due to non-installation of speed governors in passenger vehicles, etc., under the special drive being run by the Transport Department.
According to the information received from the Transport Department, driving schools have been suspended in Raipur, Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Mungeli, Surguja and Korba districts. This drive by the Transport Department will continue even further and strict action will be taken against the driving schools which do not follow the process of efficient conduct of training. In this regard, an appeal has been made by the Transport Department to the general public that they can inform the Transport Headquarters and the concerned Regional Transport or District Transport Office about any such driving school or center under their area.
Under the said campaign, action was taken by the Transport Department against 6 driving schools of different districts from July 20 to August 4. In these, clarification was issued to National Driving School, Raipur under Raipur district on July 20. The school was being operated at an address other than the address fixed by the National Driving School, Raipur. Similarly, an explanation was issued on 4th August due to illegal operation of Indian Motor Driving School, Raipur under Raipur district itself. Apart from this, Tej Singh Motor Driving School Bilaspur, New Sabera Driving School Rajnandgaon, D.K.F. Taking necessary action against Motor Driving School Ambikapur and Baba Motors Korba Driving Schools, they have been suspended.
Under the special drive being run by the Transport Department in the state, on August 20, due to non-installation of speed governors in passenger vehicles, Rs 21 thousand summon fee was recovered from 11 vehicles and settlement fee of Rs 14 thousand 900 from 4 vehicles. Went. Similarly, on August 21, necessary action was taken after inspecting the passenger vehicles and recovering the summon fee of Rs 18 thousand 500 from 19 vehicles.
It is noteworthy that in Chhattisgarh, an intensive campaign is being run by the Transport Department regarding the operation of passenger vehicles including recovery of outstanding tax of vehicles. Following the instructions of Transport Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar, the Transport Department has issued guidelines for necessary action to all the District Transport Officers. Under this, immediate action will be taken by the Transport Department if there are more passengers than the prescribed capacity in the passenger vehicles. Along with this, strict instructions have been given for the installation of speed governors in passenger vehicles and fitness etc. to follow the rules and instructions of the Transport Department as per the rules.
