1 thousand 472 people benefited from PM Janman Yojana
Raipur, 10 January 2024 Continuous camps are being organized to provide benefits of various schemes of the Government of India to special backward tribe families. Under the scheme, the benefits of the scheme are being given to special backward tribal families by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs under the Pradhan Mantri Tribal Tribal Justice Mahabhiyan (PM Janman) Scheme. The problems of the officers are being solved by reaching the village settlements. The benefits of about 22 schemes of the Government of India are to be extended to all the people. These include pucca houses for common citizens, tap water in every house, electricity till home, education, skill development, health, livelihood and other ambitious schemes. People of Kamar tribe live in three development blocks of Mahasamund district, Mahasamund, Bagbahara and Pithora. These include 461 families in 41 villages of Mahasamund whose total population is 1687. Similarly, 390 families, whose number is 1385, reside in 32 villages of Bagbahra development block. 44 families with 168 members are residing in two gram panchayats of Pithora development block. To promote the scheme, people are being made aware through wall writing in Chhattisgarhi dialect including Hindi in 275 Para-Tolas.
So far, 26 camps have been organized to provide benefits to the people of all the special backward tribal groups identified by the district administration. 2682 beneficiaries of special backward tribes participated. Aadhaar cards of 301 people and Ayushman cards of 602 people were made in 26 camps. Registration of 72 farmers under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Kisan Credit Card issued to 15 farmers and new accounts of 168 people were opened under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana. Under PM Matru Vandana Yojana, 10 women were registered and ration cards were distributed in 304 Kamar families.
