Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the state government has implemented the State Women Entrepreneurship Policy 2023-28 to give a new identity to the efficiency of women and to connect them with entrepreneurship. Under this policy, provision has been made to provide financial assistance (loan) to women for setting up industries. With this increase in women workforce, their participation in industry and trade will increase. With this policy, the number of startups started by women will also increase rapidly.

*Provision for women entrepreneurs under the policy*
Loans up to Rs 50 lakh for manufacturing enterprise projects, loans up to Rs 25 lakh for service enterprise projects and business enterprise projects for women entrepreneurs under the State Women Entrepreneurship Policy 2023-28 Provision has been made for loans up to Rs.10 lakhs.

* Enterprises established in the state by women entrepreneurs will get grants *
Under the policy, economic investment incentives will be provided to new, expansion, micro, small and medium manufacturing and service enterprises established by women entrepreneurs in the state. Fixed capital investment grant up to 30-55 percent of the fixed capital investment made in the enterprise, 45 to 70 percent on the term loan obtained for the enterprises and working capital provisioned in the project report (equivalent to the requirement of maximum three months) and the maximum amount Interest subsidy ranging from Rs 15 to 60 lakh will be given.

Margin money grant of 50 percent, up to a maximum of Rs.75 lakh, Net State Goods and Services Tax (Net SGST) reimbursement for 6 to 16 years from the date of commencement of commercial production, electricity duty, stamp duty, transport grant for setting up new enterprises , will be exempted from market fee.

*Additional economic investment incentive to women self-help groups*
Women self-help groups will be given an additional grant of 5 percent in grants as additional economic investment incentive and an additional time period of 1 year in cases of exemption. Under the Industrial Policy 2019-24 for start-up enterprises established by women, there is a provision of 5 percent additional grant and one year additional exemption in cases of exemption in the startup package announced.
