Mahtari Vandan Yojana is an effective step towards women empowerment to become financially self-reliant. This scheme has been started by the state government with the aim of strengthening the health and nutritional level of the women of the state. Tremendous enthusiasm was seen among women from village to city. Women will be given an amount of Rs 1000 per month under this scheme. A total amount of Rs 12 thousand will also be given in a year. Women play an important role in running the household as well as making the household budget. They know how to discharge household responsibilities very well. Mahtari Vandan Yojana will provide financial strength to women and they will have an amount in their hands. Which they can use.
Mrs. Asmati Kashyap, a resident of Lalbagh in Jagdalpur city, said in the local Halbi dialect that all of us women are very happy that an amount of Rs 1000 will be deposited in their account every month. Will be able to use it for vegetables and other needs. Women of Bastar expressed their happiness and said that this is a unique initiative of Chhattisgarh government towards promoting women empowerment.
Aadawal resident Swati Rao said that she will use the amount to fulfill her essential household items. Mrs. Krishnadevi of Adawal expressed happiness and thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai.
Mrs. Sunita Yadav, resident of Balodabazar Nagar, said that the government had promised to give Rs 1,000 per month, which is now about to be fulfilled. Today I have applied for Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Now I will use the money I get for children’s education and other expenses. He expressed his gratitude by thanking the country’s Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the state head Shri Vishnudev Sai for starting the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Similarly, Mrs. Teejbai Kamar, a resident of special backward tribe of village Baldakchhar of Kasdol development block, has also reached the nearest Anganwadi and applied to avail the benefits of Mahtari Vandan Yojana. She said that I earn money by doing daily wages and farming work, now with this I will get Rs 1,000 per month. Which will be my source of additional income. I will use this money for other daily expenses. Mrs. Teejbai Kamar expressed gratitude towards the Chief Minister. Similarly, Mrs. Sneha Paikra, resident of village Parsabhader of Balodabazar development block, has expressed her gratitude towards Mahtari Vandan, a scheme started to empower women economically and has appealed to all the women to apply.
It is noteworthy that the cabinet of state Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has approved the Mahtari Vandan Scheme in Chhattisgarh. Married, widowed, divorced and abandoned women natives of the state will get the benefit of this scheme. To participate in this scheme, the financial income of the family has been kept less than Rs 2.5 lakh annually. Married women above 21 years of age will get the benefit of this scheme. Even getting one thousand rupees from the government will prove beneficial for their economic development. The benefits of this scheme for women will improve their financial condition and if women can save some money then they can use it for the future.
