Archery Sports Academy will be established in Bastar and Raipur
Provision for establishment of Adventure Sports Academy in Bastar and Malkhamb Academy in Narayanpur

The fifth budget of his tenure was presented by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on 06 March. In the budget, special attention has been given to everyone from students to sportspersons, in which provision has been made for the construction of mini stadium, promotion of women’s sports and establishment of various sports academies. Traditional sports are being promoted in the state. In order to encourage sports activities, from village level sports competition to organizing national and international level sports events, Rs 5 crore has been announced for arranging training of players.
In this budget, provision has been made to establish sports academies for various national and international sports such as adventure sports, hockey, football, badminton, tennis, athletics to promote sports in the state. Similarly, Shaheed Gundadhur Archery and Kayaking and Canoeing Sports Academy will also be established.
Archery sports academies will be established in Bastar and Raipur to encourage archery as a state sport. Provision has been made for establishment of Malkhamb Academy in Narayanpur and International Badminton Sports Academy in Raipur.
3 crore 70 lakh has been announced for the establishment of Adventure Sports Academy in Bastar district and for the development of adventure sports facilities in village Saliyatoli development block of Kunkuri.
To promote the traditional sports of the state, the organization of Chhattisgarhia Olympics has been started from this year, in which women and men of all classes, from children to the elderly, took part in a big way.
In view of the interest and enthusiasm of the local people towards these games due to the successful organization of Chhattisgarh Olympics, a provision of Rs 25 crore has been kept in this budget for the grand event of Chhattisgarh Olympics in the coming year.
A provision of Rs 100 crore has been kept for Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club and Rs 08 crore for organizing Rajiv Yuva Mahotsav in the budget by the Chief Minister.
