Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, while addressing the Satnami Youth-Girl Introduction Conference organized by Satnami Utthan and Jagriti Samiti at Khalsa School premises located at Kachari Chowk in the capital Raipur today, said that such events are beneficial for the society. Guru Baldas Saheb of the society has set a big example in front of the society by getting his son married in the introduction conference organized by the society and in the ideal mass marriage. There is a need to encourage such events.
The Chief Minister said that through such events one does not have to go anywhere to find a bride and groom, marriageable young men and women are introduced on one platform only. Later on they get tied in the sacred bond of marriage. Such events save time and money. The Chief Minister extended his blessings and best wishes to the young men and women participating in this event for their bright future. Praising this introduction conference organized by Satnami Samaj, he said that even though marriage is a contract in western culture, in our culture marriage is a sacred sacrament and is a companion of seven births. Such events provide great convenience to two families in establishing marriage relations.
Before this, Chief Minister Shri Sai inaugurated the program by offering prayers to Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji and lighting the lamp. On this occasion, Bhandarpuri gaddashin religious guru Shri Baldas Saheb, newly elected MLA Guru Shri Khushwant Saheb, former state MP Shri Bhushan Lal Jangde, former Lok Sabha MP Shri Govind Ram Miri, patron of society Shri Sarju Prasad Ghritalhare, Chairman of Satnami Utthan and Jagruti Samiti Shri Jai Bahadur Banjare was also present. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai was honored by the society by presenting him a shawl and quince.
The Chief Minister said that the state government’s motto is “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.” It is following “Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas”. We have started implementing Modi ji’s guarantee to bring prosperity in people’s lives. Regarding the demand of land for social activities in Nava Raipur by the Satnami community, he said that the state government will provide whatever necessary support for the development of the Satnami community. Will consider the demand of providing land for social activities in Nava Raipur.
Addressing the program, Guru Shri Baldas Saheb said that events like introduction conferences of marriageable young men and women and ideal mass marriages should be encouraged in every society. He urged all the people of the society to participate in such social events. He blessed the young men and women attending the introduction conference. Shri Jai Bahadur Banjare, Chairman of Satnami Utthan and Jagruti Samiti, while giving the welcome speech, said that his committee has been organizing introduction conference and ideal mass marriage for 23 years. So far, about 19 thousand 500 marriageable young men and women have introduced themselves in various such events. Out of which about 65 percent got tied in the sacred bond of marriage. Newly elected MLA Guru Shri Khushwant Saheb expressed his gratitude to the guests and appreciated the event and said that the society benefits from such events. Young men and women and their families get an opportunity to know each other. Marriage relationships are formed easily. And time and money are saved in marriage.
