According to the information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, the state has recorded an average rainfall of 634.1 mm since June 1, 2023. According to the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 01, 2023 to today, August 17 morning, the highest average rainfall of 1082.9 mm has been recorded in Bijapur district and the lowest average rainfall of 306.7 mm in Surguja district.
According to the information received from the state level flood control room, since June 1, an average rainfall of 579.6 mm has been recorded in Surajpur district, 576.6 mm in Balrampur, 515.2 mm in Jashpur, 620.6 mm in Korea, 632.1 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
Similarly, 738.6 mm in Raipur district, 636.2 mm in Balodabazar, 593.3 mm in Gariaband, 700.9 mm in Mahasamund, 627.3 mm in Dhamtari, 634.9 mm in Bilaspur, 823.3 mm in Mungeli, 699.0 mm in Raigarh, 551.8 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. Average rainfall was recorded in Janjgir-Champa 514.1 mm, Sakti 524.3 mm, Korba 637.5 mm, Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi 601.0 mm, Durg 503.6 mm. 493.6 mm in Kabirdham district, 685.3 mm in Rajnandgaon, 791.8 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh post, 654.1 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 687.2 mm in Balod, 491.2 mm in Bemetara, 679.4 mm in Bastar, 488.9 mm in Kondagaon, Kanker recorded 564.5 mm, Narayanpur 577.5 mm, Dantewada 772.4 mm and Sukma 939.9 mm average rainfall since June 1.
