According to the information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, an average rainfall of 520.2 mm has been recorded in the state since June 1, 2023. According to the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 01, 2023 to today, August 2 morning, the highest average rainfall of 1035.9 mm has been recorded in Bijapur district and the lowest average rainfall of 222.3 mm in Surguja district.
According to the information received from the state level flood control room, since June 1, an average rainfall of 401.3 mm has been recorded in Surajpur district, 432.2 mm in Balrampur, 392.5 mm in Jashpur, 457.5 mm in Korea, 474.7 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
Similarly, 619.8 mm in Raipur district, 492.0 mm in Balodabazar, 546.0 mm in Gariaband, 562.7 mm in Mahasamund, 579.8 mm in Dhamtari, 491.2 mm in Bilaspur, 609.0 mm in Mungeli, 512.9 mm in Raigarh, 447.5 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. Average rainfall was recorded in Janjgir-Champa 379.9 mm, Sakti 396.6 mm, Korba 458.1 mm, Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi 402.9 mm, Durg 427.6 mm. 393.5 mm in Kabirdham district, 635.5 mm in Rajnandgaon, 711.2 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadchoki, 527.0 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 632.0 mm in Balod, 376.6 mm in Bemetara, 597.4 mm in Bastar, 426.0 mm in Kondagaon, Kanker 499.8 mm, 489.3 mm in Narayanpur, 689.0 mm in Dantewada and 845.8 mm in Sukma have recorded average rainfall since June 1.
