According to the information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the State Government, an average rainfall of 355.1 mm has been recorded in the state since June 1, 2024. According to the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 01, 2024 till today morning 21 July, Bijapur district has recorded the highest average rainfall of 854.4 mm and Surguja district has recorded the lowest average rainfall of 138.2 mm.
According to the information received from the state level flood control room, from June 1 till now, an average rainfall of 204.3 mm was recorded in Surajpur district, 341.3 mm in Balrampur, 241.4 mm in Jashpur, 249.5 mm in Korea, 205.9 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
Similarly, average rainfall of 291.1 mm was recorded in Raipur district, 314.7 mm in Baloda Bazar, 428.2 mm in Gariaband, 251.6 mm in Mahasamund, 396.7 mm in Dhamtari, 347.9 mm in Bilaspur, 340.2 mm in Mungeli, 332.5 mm in Raigarh, 205.3 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, 332.3 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 277.4 in Sakti, 397.6 mm in Korba, 343.2 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 223.2 mm in Durg. From June 1 till now, an average rainfall of 287.0 mm has been recorded in Kabirdham district, 409.4 mm in Rajnandgaon, 409.6 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadhchowki, 267.3 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 465.3 mm in Balod, 202.6 mm in Bemetara, 513.1 mm in Bastar, 409.4 mm in Kondagaon, 445.8 mm in Kanker, 476.9 mm in Narayanpur, 463.0 mm in Dantewada and 652.1 mm in Sukma district.
