Raipur: Skill development training of secondary and higher secondary school teachers started

Training is being given by the Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Royal Society of Chemistry

In order to increase the skill development and knowledge of teachers of secondary and higher secondary schools, as well as to motivate school students to take science subjects, Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Royal Society of Chemistry, started the training workshop on 22 August. Happened. This workshop, organized at the Chhattisgarh Regional Science Center, will continue till August 25. The workshop includes presentations as well as hands-on training for teachers to integrate learning resources with the curriculum. which they can use as an alternative to the traditional square-and-talk method in the classroom.
      The Yusuf Hamid Inspirational Science Program is a Royal Society of Chemistry professional development course for science teachers in India. Royal Society of Chemistry, UK Chemistry and working towards furthering chemistry education. Whose master trainers have teamed up with some of India’s best teachers to develop this program to help science teachers enhance their skills and inspire students to study science at university. The Royal Society Teacher Developers is conducting workshops for science teachers in schools across India. Thereby they are being given techniques to make science more interesting and attractive to the students at secondary and higher secondary school level. Training workshops are provided free of charge and include plans that are inexpensive and readily available.
    Scientist of Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology Dr. J.K. Rai, threw light on the outline and purpose of organizing the workshop. In the inaugural speech, the Director General of Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology Shri S.S. Giving details about the programme, Bajaj stressed on the need for teachers to enhance their skills to teach science in an interesting way. Mr. Bajaj advised the teachers to properly learn the techniques provided by the Royal Society of Chemistry during the workshop. Which can be used for more effective teaching in the classroom. Jaya Swaminathan, Teacher Developer, Royal Society of Chemistry, Bangalore, gave an overview of the Yusuf Hamid Inspiring Science Professional Development Course of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He explained in detail how this course has been implemented in India. Scientists and officers of Chhattisgarh Regional Science Center and science teachers of Raipur district participated in the workshop.
