Raipur : Single window system makes way for industrial development in the state: 43 services of various departments made available online

Raipur, 24 March 2021.  Chhattisgarh Government’s single window system has made it easier to establish new industries in the state . 43 services of various departments have been made online through the single window system implemented by the Department of Industries. Apart from this, 30 other services are also being accommodated under the single window system. Facilities of uploading documents, online payment of application amount, tracking status of application and downloading the approved certificates, license, registration, etc., has been provided for all these 43 services. Under “Udyam Akanksha”, Online registration of investors seeking investment in Chhattisgarh is also in process. Investors do not need to submit any kind of documents. Investors are being registered on the basis of self-certification. At present, more than 55 thousand enterprise aspirations have been sanctioned in the state. Information about all the licenses, permits, certificates etc. required for setting up and running the industry is available on the website of the department. Any investor can get information about licenses, permits, certificates etc. immediately.

 

In the year 2020, a list of 305 improvement points related to 23 departments and institutes of the state was released under “Ease of Doing Business”. A special toll free number -1800 233 3943 has been made available on the department’s website to address all the queries related to the industry and a Grievance redressal system has been developed to solve the problems. CSIDC is conducting the entire process of land allotment in industrial areas online. The land available for industrial units in the state has been provided through the GIS system, using which any investor can peruse environmentally available land for red, orange, green or white category industries and information about the basic facilities available nearby. One can see the information of road, drain, canal, power supply etc. in the map based on GIS.

Online application system for water connection is also being implemented in the industrial and non-industrial areas. Grants, rebates and concessions related to industrial investment promotion are being given to industrial units through online system. E-standard portal has been started to provide transparency in government procurement and to encourage local industries.
