Rural Haat Bazar Clinics of remote areas are getting benefited from the initiative of the Chief Minister,
there is an increasing demand for the scheme, people are getting the benefit of free tests and medicines. 48-year-old Shivnarayan is a resident of Ratanpur in Koriya district. Shiv Narayan was feeling weak for some time. He had stomach pain and back pain. He got his test done in the mobile medical unit present in Haat Bazar of Ratanpur. His BP, sugar and hemoglobin were checked at Haat Bazar clinic. When the amount of hemoglobin was found to be low in the test, the doctors gave free medicines to Shiv Narayan and also gave advice regarding the food. Now Shiv Narayan is recovering fast and feeling better than before.
Similarly, 51-year-old Mohit Vishwakarma, a resident of Korea district, was suffering from the problem of high BP and headache. They say that they have got relief from the medicines given by the doctors in Haat Bazar clinic and now they are getting their treatment in Haat Bazar regularly.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had launched Haat Bazar Clinic scheme for easy access to health facilities to the people in remote rural areas. Under this, people are getting good health benefits through free health tests, tests and effective medicines through dedicated vehicles in weekly haat bazaars.
So far in Korea district alone, health facilities were being provided to the people through 35 haat markets. In view of their popularity and increasing demand, on the instructions of Collector Kuldeep Sharma, the number of Haat Bazaars has been increased at present, under which 07 new Haat Bazaars have been identified. Now people will be treated through mobile medical units in total 42 Haat Bazaars in the district.

Every Sunday and Tuesday in Salka’s weekly Haat market of development block Baikunthpur, Thursday in Katwar of development block Bharatpur, Thursday in Pondi of development block Khadgwan and Saturday in Banjaridand, Tuesday in Dhulku of development block Manendragarh and Thursday in Katgodi of development block Sonhat. Free health facilities will be available through market clinics.
In the last 4 months, more than 41 thousand got free check-up and benefits of medicines
. Under the scheme, the health department team provided free health facilities to the people in 608 Haat Bazaars organized in the district through dedicated vehicles in the weekly Haat Bazars. A total of 41 thousand 72 patients were tested and treated since April 1, 2022, out of which 41 thousand 163 were tested and given free medicines. At the same time, 54 needy people have been referred to the district hospital for treatment.
