Raipur: Sero survey will be done to know the status of herd immunity against Kovid 19 in the state: Samples will be taken from 16 September in ten districts.

Raipur 9 September 2020. In order to know whether the herd immunity for Kovid-19 has come in the public of Chhattisgarh state, now sero surveillance will be done by ICMR / RMRC Odisha and Chhattisgarh Health Department on the lines of metros.
Health Department officials told here today that this survey will be conducted from September 16 in a total of 10 districts including Raipur. From 16 September to 18 September in Raipur, blood samples will be taken from 2 blocks Raipur and Tilda area of ​​the district. 500 samples from each district including high risk group such as TB and HIV afflicted people with low resistance, Containment Zone, Health personnel, Security personnel, Police, Security Force, Journalists, Rural, Tribes, Industrial personnel, Driver, Bank and A total of 260 samples will be taken from postmen, aviation workers, prison inmates, old age homes, orphanages, shops, hostels etc. and 240 samples will be taken from selected 6 clusters of the district. Antibody immunoglobuli G and M will be investigated in these samples. Sero survey is done on the basis of patients infected with Kovid 19 per 10 lakh population.
Apart from Raipur district where the survey will be done, those districts are Bilaspur, Korba, Mungeli, Jashpur, Janjgir Champa, Balrampur, Balodabazar, Rajnandgaon and Durg districts. In the remaining 9 districts, samples will be taken from September 20.
