Assistance received within 24 hours of application: family expressed gratitude
Raipur, 26 November 2020. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has immediately sanctioned assistance of one lakh rupees for the treatment of the injured patient in a road accident which took place about two and a half years ago in Bilaspur district. Family members have expressed gratitude for this sensitive initiative of the Chief Minister.
Smt. Bhagwati Yadav, a resident of Takhatpur, a block development block in Bilaspur district, said that two and a half years ago, her son Jai Yadav suffered brain hemorrhage due to a road accident. Mrs Bhagwati Yadav’s family situation is not good. His son’s income used to cost the family, but after the accident, the family’s financial situation worsened. Now running the family in front of Mrs. Bhagwati as well as treating the son was a problem. He pleaded for financial help from wherever possible, but his problem could not be resolved.
On being advised by Mrs. Bhagwati Yadav to urge the Chief Minister for treatment of her son, she applied to the Chief Minister for assistance in treatment. Within 24 hours of receiving the application, assistance of Rs one lakh was sanctioned for the treatment of the son. This amount was provided by Collector of Bilaspur by Red Cross Society Bilaspur.
