The Chhattisgarh State Planning Commission has been awarded the prestigious ‘ SKOCH ORDER OF MERIT ‘ award in the field of governance for the effective implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in the state of Chhattisgarh. The award was presented to Shri Anup Kumar Srivastava, Member Secretary, State Planning Commission in a virtual ceremony today.
The award has been given to the State Planning Commission for its remarkable work in the field of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). On this occasion, Dr. K.K. Subramaniam, Member State Planning Commission and Dr. Neetu Gourdia, Joint Director, State Planning Commission were also present.
It is worth mentioning that the importance of this award and honor is even more because this entire work was done very efficiently by the Chhattisgarh State Planning Commission amid the difficult circumstances of the Corona period. During this period, when all the government works were working with their minimum resources, the SDG, State Indicator Framework, SDG, State Indicator Framework, S.P. D.G. SDG for baseline and progress report and monitoring at district level. District Indicators Framework has been prepared, it has also been appreciated by NITI Aayog, New Delhi and UNICEF.
