Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai released the review of the State Planning Commission by the Government of Chhattisgarh and the report prepared by the State Planning Commission related to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) “SDG District Progress Report, 2022 Chhattisgarh” on 04 January 2024 at Yojana Bhawan, Nava. Held in Raipur.
Chief Minister Shri Sai will review the major achievements of the State Planning Commission and the upcoming action plan and will release the “SDG District Progress Report, 2022 Chhattisgarh. Minister of Planning, Economics and Statistics Shri O.P. Chaudhary will also be present in this meeting. .
It is noteworthy that the data for the year 2021-22 is based on the “Chhattisgarh District Indicator Framework” prepared by Chhattisgarh State Planning Commission to ensure localization and continuous effective monitoring of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to the district level. Based on “S.D.G. “District Progress Report 2022 Chhattisgarh” has been prepared. Earlier, based on the data of the year 2020-21, “S.D.G. “District Progress Report 2021” has also been released on 20 February 2023. In the report, the districts are given the “score” and ranking earned by them. It will be a matter of curiosity in the report that the scoring of the districts is compared to the previous year. And how has the ranking changed?
In the said meeting, Mr. Ajay Singh, Vice Chairman State Planning Commission, Mr. Amitabh Jain, Chief Secretary, Mr. Himshikhar Gupta, Secretary Planning, Economics and Statistics, Dr. K. Subramaniam, Member State Planning Commission, Mr. Job Zakaria, Chief UNICEF Chhattisgarh, Mr. Anoop Kumar Srivastava, Member Secretary State Planning Commission and officials of the State Planning Commission will be present.
