Chief Minister attended the first anniversary of Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Maa and Children Hospital

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today attended the first anniversary organized of the free Shri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Maa and Bal Hospital operated at Nava Raipur Atal Nagar and congratulated and congratulated all the management staff of the hospital. On this occasion, the Chief Minister described Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital as unmatched in the service of humanity. He said that its excellent service has been recognized in the country and the world and a large number of people are continuously coming here to take advantage of the free treatment and service of the hospital.
Addressing the program, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that it is indeed a matter of great happiness. I have been informed that in just one year this hospital has treated more than 10 thousand 451 pregnant mothers and 547 mothers have been safely delivered here. I want to say to the operators, doctors, nurses and all the employees of this hospital that your service is incomparable. You are not only doing human service, but you are also doing nation-building. To build a strong nation, first of all it is necessary that not only every citizen of it should be healthy, but the coming generation should also be healthy. When a mother is healthy, Then she will give birth to a healthy baby. This child will be the future nation builder. It is unimaginable for people in today’s era that a non-government hospital equipped with world class infrastructure and facilities would have completely free treatment. But this miracle can be seen directly in Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that Shri Sathya Sai Hospital, Nava Raipur is already world-renowned as a cash counter-equipped hospital for free treatment of children suffering from heart diseases. Now in the form of Mother and Child Hospital, this hospital has added more new dimensions of service. It is a matter of great pride for every Chhattisgarhia to have Sri Sathya Sai Hospital in Chhattisgarh. I would like to humbly tell all of you that during the last four and a half years, the Government of Chhattisgarh has also worked with a focus on the health of women and children.
Mukhyamantri Suposhan Abhiyan is being conducted in the state to free children from malnutrition, and mothers and sisters from anemia, in which we have got good success. Malnutrition in the state has come down by 8.7 percent in the last four and a half years. So far more than 2 lakh children have become malnutrition free. More than one lakh women have become anemia free. Dai-Didi clinics are being run in the state to provide home-access medical facilities to mothers and sisters. On this occasion Dr. Srinivas, Dr. Archana, Dr. Narayana Murthy from Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital along with medical staff and relatives of patients were present.
