Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today launched the initiative of private FM radio channel ‘Ram Path Se Ram Van’ from his residence in Raipur and flagged off two vehicles involved in it to Ramaram in Sukma district and Sitamarhi-Harchauka in Koriya district. Through ‘Ram Path to Ram Van’, soil will be collected from major places involved in Lord Ram’s journey to Chhattisgarh and tree plantation will be done at Mata Kaushalya Dham Chandkhuri, its last stop. Along with this, the stories and beliefs related to Lord Shri Ram’s visit to Chhattisgarh will also be shared with the general public through the FM channel.

    On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel extended best wishes to all the people associated with the Rampath to Ramvan campaign and also appreciated this initiative. He said that Lord Ram belongs to all of us and Chhattisgarh is his maternal grandfather. The Chief Minister said that we are fortunate that we got the opportunity to develop the Ram-Van-Gaman path and construction work is going on at 09 major places. Thousands of people and organizations are spontaneously getting associated with this initiative of the government, this is a very good thing. He said that Lord Ram resides in the soil of Chhattisgarh and the pious work of tree plantation will be done by bringing this holy soil. This tree will symbolize the memory of the journey of Lord Rama.

    It is worth mentioning that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the work is being done to develop the places involved in Lord Ram’s visit to Chhattisgarh during the exile period as Ram-Van-Gaman Path. With this initiative of the government, other people are continuously joining and playing their part. With the initiative of Rampath to Ramvan by FM channel, soil will be collected from major places of Ram-Van-Gaman path such as Sitamarhi-Har Chowka of Korea, Shivrinarayan of Ramgarh Janjgir Champa of Sarguza, Turturia of Baloda Bazar, Chandkhuri of Raipur, Rajim of Gariaband, Sihawa of Dhamtari, Jagdalpur of Bastar and Ramaram of Sukma and tree plantation will be done in Mata Kaushalya Dham Complex Chandkhuri.

    On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri T.S. Singhdev, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Gau Sewa Ayog Raje Mr. Dr. Mahant Ramsunder Das, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Mr. Atal Srivastava and other representatives were present.
