Raipur, 12 August 2021. Sanskrit week is celebrated in schools of the state three days before and three days after Shravan Purnima (Raksha Bandhan) in the month of Shravan. This year Sanskrit week will be celebrated from August 19 to August 25. Under this, a rally will be organized to promote the importance of Sanskrit language, including verse recitation, antakshari, and hymn. A letter has been sent by Sanskrit Vidyamandalam to all the district education officers of the state regarding the organization of Sanskrit week.
According to the scheduled program of Sanskrit week, on the first day on August 19, with the announcement of the beginning of Sanskrit week by garlanding the picture of Saraswati and lighting the lamp, the head of the institution in schools spoke on the importance of Sanskrit and the exhibition related to Sanskrit literature, texts and Sanskrit. is to be organized.
