Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached village Samoda of Arang Vidhan Sabha today for the meet-meet programme. Addressing the meeting, he said that as soon as the government was formed, first of all, we decided to waive the loan, the loan of 9.5 thousand crore rupees of 19 lakh farmers was waived. The amount was returned to the farmers who had sold paddy and whose loans were written off. Bought paddy on support price, gave input subsidy to farmers under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. The amount of 3 installments of this scheme has come into the account of the farmers. The last and fourth installment of the scheme will be given on March 31. Mr. Baghel said that the schemes of the state government have brought a lot of change in the lives of the farmers. The Chief Minister said that it is our intention that everyone should get ration. We made everyone’s ration card. He interacted with the beneficiaries of ration cards and took feedback of the scheme. The Chief Minister asked the people whose loans have been waived off. On this, a large number of people raised their hands and told that their loan has been forgiven. Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria was also present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel made several important announcements during the meeting. He said that Samoda will be given the status of sub-tehsil, new college building will be constructed in Nagar Panchayat Samoda, district central cooperative bank branch will be opened in Samoda, sub-health center Samoda will be upgraded to primary health center, A sub-health center will be opened in village Amodi, new buildings will be constructed for sub-health centers in Banarsi and Bhandarpuri, new buildings will be constructed for government higher secondary schools in Korasi and Chaprid, and a police post will be started soon in Bhainsa. A road will be constructed from Majitha to Parswani, a culvert will be constructed over Dhodki Nala in Parswani village, a road will be constructed from Borid to Chandi Mandir, a boys’ hostel will be constructed in Samoda.
Gopal bought a thresher and a bullet with the extra income from farming
Farmer Gopal Sahu of village Amodi told that he grows Rabi crop in 12 acres and Kharif crop in 32 acres. Under the loan waiver, a loan of three and a half lakh rupees has been waived. Paddy is also being sold at the support price. Thresher and a bullet have been bought from the extra income. He said that electricity bill of thirty thousand rupees has been waived under the electricity bill half scheme. Temin Sahu village-Chaprid told that they get 35 kg rice, salt free of cost. Sugar is available at Rs.17 per kg.
Virendra Kumar bought a tractor
Talking to the Chief Minister, Virendra Kumar Baghel said that the loan of Rs 2 lakh 54 thousand has been waived off. With the extra money, the entire installment of the tractor has been paid and other expenses have been incurred. Farmer Dayalu Ram Sahu told that he has 7 acres of land, under the loan waiver, a loan of Rs 85 thousand has been waived. Income of 45-45 thousand rupees to the women of the group from vermi compost
In the meeting, Prembai Sahu, a resident of village Ranisagar told that he has sold 1300 quintal vermi compost. The women of the group have earned 45-45 thousand. Prembai thanked the Chief Minister for this scheme and said that it has given employment to many women, women are becoming self-reliant. He demanded a para collecting machine, on his demand the Chief Minister instructed the collector to provide the machine. The Chief Minister said that women are also working to make electricity and paint from cow dung. Devki Sahu told that there are 11 members in his group. Vermi makes compost. Has sold 1225 quintals of vermicompost, earned an income of Rs 4 lakh 50 thousand, has distributed this money among the members of the group. Tikam Yadav is a resident of village Rani Sagar. He told that he has 15 to 20 cows, has sold cow dung worth 70 thousand and has bought more cows with the money he got from selling cow dung.
Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club started a cleanliness campaign in the village
