Ripa’s products will be available in C-Mart

To develop the rural economy by the state government, the C-Mart scheme is proving to be effective in connecting the products manufactured in the villages with the markets of the cities. Through this, to promote rural areas, locally manufactured products in villages have been linked to the city market. C-Mart has been established in Rajnandgaon and Dongargarh cities.
Goods worth Rs 2 crore 14 lakh 95 thousand 764 have been sold so far from the C-Mart center of Rajnandgaon district, which is second in the state. 2 thousand 617 types of manufactured products have been sold by the women of the group and the traditional cottage industry. Other items including traditional are being sold in C-Mart with good packaging. In which the interest of the people has increased and it is being bought by the general public.
Ashram-hostels, schools, Anganwadi, Health, Women and Child Development Department and other departments are purchasing food grains and other essential items from C-Mart. From C-Mart, the products manufactured by the women of the group and the traditional cottage industry are getting market and better prices. Locally produced items by rural and women’s groups are available for general public in C-Mart. Apart from organic products, variety of spices and food items are available here.
Aarug Organic Fragrant Rice, Aarug Organic Kodo, Ragi Flour, Turmeric, Black Rice, Aarug Honey, Himalayan Black Salt, Adori Badi, Garam Masala, Moong Papad, Amla Pickle, Poha, Mahua Chikki, Mahua Laddu, Mushroom Ketchup are available at C-Mart. Pickle, Mushroom Papad, Vedic Drink, Neem Dant Manjan, Sanitary Pad, Gaudhuli Tilak Sandalwood, Desi Cow Dung Kanda, Pure Mango Wood, Pattal, Masala, Rice Papad, Pasta, Coriander Powder, Chilli Powder, Soap, Phenyl Bag is available. Purses, handmade weavers bedsheets, towels, handkerchiefs and other products are also available here. Now the products produced in Rural Industrial Park Ripa will also be available in C-Mart.
It is worth mentioning that this initiative of the state government to develop the rural economy and to connect the products manufactured in the villages with the markets of the cities is proving fruitful. C-marts like modern showrooms are being set up in the cities to provide market and better prices to the products manufactured by women self-help groups, artisans, weavers, artisans, potters and other traditional and cottage industries.
