Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has said that Saint Kabir was such a great saint, who strongly attacked the social hypocrisy and superstitions spread in the society and made the society aware and worked to unite them. He said that even after the passage of 650 years, his speech is relevant even today. Mr. Baghel was addressing the Sant Samagam organized at Sadguru Kabir Ashram in Selud village of Patan development block in Durg district today. On this occasion, he announced the construction of Dome in Sadguru Kabir Ashram.
The Chief Minister said that Sadhguru Kabir was a lover of love. He worked to connect human to human beyond caste, religion and bind them together. Saint Kabir’s speech, through couplets, will continue to guide the society till eternity. He said that the Chhattisgarh government is also working in the fields of education, health and culture by following the path shown by the children. Earlier in the Sant Samagam, the Chief Minister offered flowers to the statue of Sadguru Kabir and paid obeisance. Sahitya Vedantacharya Sukrit Saheb Shastri, Director Chhote Mahant Parmeshwar Das Saheb, President Sant Bhupat Saheb, District Cooperative Central Bank President Mr. Rajendra Sahu, District Panchayat Vice President Mr. Ashok Sahu, President of Krishi Upaj Mandi Ashwini Sahu and other people’s representatives and a large number at the program venue. Devotees were present.
