Announcement to name Kumhari Bazar Chowk after Mata Karma

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has said that Mata Karma is the goddess of service, sacrifice, devotion and dedication. Devoted to Lord Krishna, Mata Karma devoted her entire life to social and religious work. Devotee Mata Karma’s devotion to Krishna has been exemplary, so today the birth anniversary of Mata Karma is celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm in the entire state. He was addressing Maa Karma Jayanti Mahotsav organized at Kumhari in Durg district today.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that Sahu Samaj is not only carrying forward its traditions, but is also doing purposeful work for the social people. Shahu Samaj is moving fast in all the fields of agriculture, trade, education. The work being done by the social organization to take the society forward, the coming generation will get great benefit from it. He said that mutual coordination, unity and positive thoughts are essential for progress and positive thoughts can only be given by education, so he told the present people to give special emphasis on education for social progress.
The Chief Minister said that Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of self-reliant and self-reliant villages would be fulfilled through RIPA and youth would get employment on a large scale. Our farmer brothers work hard, their labor should be fully respected. The government has decided to purchase paddy at 20 quintals per acre so that they can get the right amount for their produce. Special work is being done by the government to promote the production and processing of minor forest produce like Kodo-Kutki. During the program, the Chief Minister also announced the renaming of Kumhari Bazar Chowk as Mata Karma Chowk.
